Three National Emergency Management agency officers lost their lives, and eleven citizens and three children were hospitalized following an accident between a passenger automobile and a truck transporting liquefied natural gas at the intersection of "Ikh Mongol" and "Dunjingarav" shopping center road. Building No. 207 of the "Edu Apartment" campus, "Global" International School, and building No. 830 of the "Sunny Town" campus got emergency assistance, and thirty vehicles caught fire. The initial information was given by the National Emergency Management Agency.
In connection with the situation, the Government of Mongolia, the National Emergency Commission, the National Human Rights Commission, the National Emergency Management agency, and other relevant organizations and working groups are taking all the necessary measures stipulated by the law.
Therefore, journalists should respect the grief experienced by citizens who lost their loved ones, injured, or suffered property damage, also, they should not invade their privacy, and should not disseminate fake news and information that could cause emotional or other mental damage to citizens before the extent of the damage has been determined.
